City Administrator

 

The City Administrator serves as the chief administrative officer for the city, is primarily responsible for carrying out the policies established by the Common Council, oversees day-to-day activities of the city, and supervises city department heads. The administrator is appointed by the Common Council and works under the general direction and policy guidance of the mayor and Common Council. Kent Hager is the current City Administrator for the City of New London.  Mr. Hager has over 35 years of local government experience of which the past 15 years have been with the City of New London.  Kent has a bachelor degree from Hanover College and a master degree from Florida State University.
