Senior Center Services
The Senior Community Center, inside the Washington Center, holds a variety of programs for adults ages 60 and older including Waupaca County Nutrition program.
The Nutrition program is offered Monday through Friday.  Meals are also available for the home bound elderly.  All meals are on a donation basis and are served at 11:30 a.m. A meal reservation is required one day in advanced by calling (920) 982-8522 before 11:30 a.m.
The Senior Center is a great resource for a variety of needs including:

  • Tax Preparation
  • Fuel Assistance
  • Benefit Advocate
  • Health Screenings
Exercise and Health programs are available with pre-registration often required.  There is also a treadmill and exercise bike available for use during open hours.  Click here and turn to page 18 to see current offerings for Health and Fitness Programs for Seniors.

New London Transit Service
Local transportation is available through the Senior Van Program for individuals 60 and older as well as individuals of all ages with disabilities that live in the corporate city limits of New London as defined in our residential policy.  The van runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Donations are appreciated for this service.  Rides can be obtained by calling 982-8523 and must be scheduled 24 hours in advance.  The van is equipped with a wheelchair lift.
