Volunteer Opportunities
New London Public Museum is always looking for people who are interested in learning new things, meeting new people and having a good time. At NLPM we have lots of opportunities for volunteers. This is just a brief look at what we can offer you…
Educational Programming - teaching, sharing or helping. If you enjoy working with students, adults and/or families, then join us as an educational volunteer as we help our community discover new things. Programs take place at the museum as well as other locations around the area. |
Museum Sitters – a great chance to get to know the museum, its visitors and some new people. Sometimes we need help taking care of the museum and greeting guests. If you have a bit more time to commit, this is a great opportunity for you! Some training is involved. |
Events - don’t have much time, but still want to get involved? This is perfect for you. We always need some extra hands for our events and programs. This is a flexible, fun way to be involved, even when you don’t have much time! |
Exhibits – building and installing exhibits at NLPM is a vital part of our mission. We need people with building skills, tools and time to help us create fantastic exhibits to the museum. |
