Youth and Adult Recreation Programs

Attention to anyone that will be using the Washington Center Gym:  The main entrance of the gym (stairs coming off of Washington St.) will be closed until Spring due to damage to the concrete.  

Please use the circle drive way entrance.
Continue to park in the West Side Parking Lot and Street. 
The circle driveway parking is for the Chatham Apartments only.

Spring Break Field Trip Available
Xtreme Air Trampoline Park 
Wisconsin's Largest Indoor Trampoline Park offers indoor trampolines, rock climbing, basketball and dodge ball.  Regardless of the weather outside, Xtreme Air Trampoline Park offers excitement and exercise for all ages; whether it's catching air jumping, flipping and twisting on over 12,000 square feet of trampoline fun, jousting with your friends on the Gladiator Joust, climbing three stories high on Mount Xtreme rock wall, perfecting your dunk at one of the three, 360 Slam Dunk basketball trampolines, or playing one of the most exhilarating games of dodge ball ever in one of the two self-contained dodge ball trampoline arenas.

Bus leaves at 12:00 p.m. and returns by 3:30 p.m. 
Pre-register by March 25, registration the day of the trip will result in a $5.00 late fee.  The trip will be cancelled on March 25 at 4:30 p.m. if the minimum of 30 participants is not met, registering the day of the trip will not resurrect the trip.  

Fee:  Residents/Non-Residents $20.00/$25.00

American Red Cross Babysitting Course
Ages 11-15 years old
Our Babysitter's Training Course will teach students everything they need to know about being a great babysitter. This fun, interactive American Red Cross Curriculum teaches first aid and safety skills so you can prevent and respond to emergencies, get professional medical help fast is needed, identify common safety hazards and prevent injuries.  As a Red Cross Trained Baby Sitter, students will gain confidence and valuable employment skills. The basic child care routines like diapering, feeding, discipline and problem solving are also introduced.  The course includes a handbook, pocket first aid kit and certification of completion.

or students can leave for this half hour.

KidStage Presents: 
Ages 4-12 years old
Hop a ride with Pinocchio as he takes off on his classic adventure!  This children's play adaptation is faithful to the original beloved story by Carlo Collodi with lots of fun and comedy!  One lonely night the Blue Fairy grants Geppetto's wish and brings his little wooden puppet to life.   So begins Pinocchio's journey as he tangles with tricksters Fox and Cat and meets up with Lampwick and his no-good buddies in the Land of Toys.  Parts for all ages!

Showcase will be held June 9/10 with time to be determined at the Jane Bergstrom Theatre at St. Mary's Central Catholic School in Neenah, WI

Open Gym Time Available

The Washington Center Gym is available for all youth and is a great time to get some extra practice in for your favorite sport or just burn off some extra energy when it's not so nice outside.  Some equipment is available but you are also more than welcome to bring your own.  There is a supervisor on-site at all times.  Open Gym will close if there are less than 4 people after the first 2 hours.   Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult, no charge for adult guardian of participating children.  
Regular hours starting January 6-June 2, 2018

Fridays 3:30-7:30 p.m.
Saturdays 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Washington Center Gym Walking

The Washington Center Gym is Open for Walking 5:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.  
Please bring clean, dry shoes with you to change into and sign in on the sign in
sheet on the bulletin board. 

Adult Fitness Classes
The New London Parks and Recreation Department offers PiYo, HIIT and Miss, Yoga, Tai Chi, Barre Connect, Cardio Drumming and even personal training!  These classes are offered in 7 week sessions that you must pre-register for. 
You are more than welcome to try the first night for free if you have never participated before!
