Youth and Adult Recreation Programs


The City offers a variety of classes and programs to help you reach your fitness and health goals.  From Barre to Zumba and even very reasonable personal training we offer free trial classes every 8th week of our sessions.

Outside Fitness Classes at Pfiefer Park
at the shelter area at 509 Burton Rd. entering off of Waupaca St. 
Mondays, 9:30 a.m. PiYo       4:45 p.m. Kick It
Tuesdays, 6:00 p.m. Zumba
Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. PiYo 6:00 p.m. HIIT
Thursdays, 6:00 p.m. Zumba
Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. Zumba and Kick It alternate weeks

Drop In Class Fees: 
Residents of the City of New London $3.50 
Non-Residents of the City of New London $4.75
Ask about membership and senior discounts

You must pay ahead of time at the Parks and Recreation office or
at the Aquatic and Fitness Center.

UPDATE:  Camp Hatten is moving forward and taking registrations now!  Call the office for more details!  

Camp Hatten is a program that is offered to youth Kindergarten to Intermediate School that is programmed with activities including weekly theme arts and crafts, games and trips to the Aquatic and Fitness Center and Library.  We also offer transportation to the Summer School programs and any other Youth Summer Programs the department offers.  We accept campers from as early as 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and offer full day, full week and half day options, to fit your unique work schedule.
