2017 Co-ed Softball Schedule

Washington Center Gym Walking
The Washington Center Gym is Open for Walking 5:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m.  
Please bring clean, dry shoes with you to change into and sign in on the sign in
sheet on the bulletin board. 

Adult Fitness Classes

The New London Parks and Recreation Department offers PiYo, HIIT and Miss, Yoga, Tai Chi, Barre Connect, Cardio Drumming and even personal training!  These classes are offered in 7 week sessions that you must pre-register for.  You are more than welcome to try the first night for free if you have never participated before! View detailed information on these Adult Fitness Classes by clicking here!

Saturdays: 8:00-8:45 a.m.
Fees:    Residents: $22.050 for 10 classes or $2.50 per class 
             Non-Residents: $33.75 for 10 class or $3.75 per class
Senior (60 years and older) Resident Fee: $11.25 for 10 classes
Senior (60 years and older) Non-Resident Fee: $17.00 for 10 classes
You can purchase your class pass
at the New London Parks and Recreation Department or the New London Aquatic and Fitness Center


Youth Programs

Moana Free Movie in the Park

Come watch the new Disney release Moana with the New London Parks and Recreation Department and the Party Company.  Complete with a tiki party, we will be hula hooping, having a limbo contest and enjoying luau music before the show and then at dusk find your blankets and chairs by your families for the showing of Moana.  In ancient Polynesia, when a terrible curse incurred by the Demigod Maui reaches an impetuous Chieftian's Daughter's island, she answers the ocean's call to seek out the Demigod to set things right.  Concessions will be available so come for Hatten Stadium Foundation's yummy brats, burgers and beverages!

TIME: Gates open at 7:00 p.m. with movie starting around 8:30 p.m.

 National Night Out

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes protective services-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.  Together, we are making that happen.  National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and protective services while bringing back a true sense of community and provides a great opportunity to bring police, fire and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

National Night Out will bring back Touch a Truck for it's 6th year!  Ever wanted to see what it's like to sit up high in a fire truck or what the Mobile Crime Unit Looks like from inside?  Have you ever tried to get a truck driver to beep his horn at you on the highway?  We will have them all displayed at Hatten Stadium again this year.  From plows to front end loaders, emergency vehicles and more!  Come on down and meet the guys that run them, get to crawl around on around them and even lay on the horn a couple times yourself!!
