The New London Public Museum seeks a permanent part-time Program Coordinator to assist with the programs at the museum including adult, children and family education and perform general museum tasks including various office duties and providing customer services to museum visitors. Excellent people skills, the ability to teach various age groups and have a flexible work schedule are needed. The New London Fire Department is accepting applications for the position of Firefighter. Candidates must possess a Wisconsin Firefighter I certification or be able to obtain certification within one (1) year of hire. Applicant must also possess a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License. The New London Community Pool is looking to hire Part Time Head Lifeguards for the Opening Shift. The optimal candidate would be a responsible adult to work mornings about 15-20 hours per week. This is not a seasonal position; hours will be flexible and available year round. Must be reliable, hard working, and able to swim. Training will include certification in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and Automated External Defibrillation. Starting pay would be $9/hour, after completion of training. The New London Parks and Recreation Department is looking for responsible adults to officiate for Volleyball and Basketball in the winter season. Qualified candidates must be knowledgeable in the sport and all of its rules and regulations, experience is required and a WIAA Referee Certificate is desirable.
