The New London Parks and Recreation Department is hiring Soccer Referees for the Co-Ed Soccer League on Sunday nights in the Spring and Fall Seasons.  This is seasonal work refereeing the adult co-ed soccer leagues in the Parks and Recreation Department.  Duties are performed under the direction of the Recreation Coordinator.  Qualified applicants are individuals who are dependable, mature and have strong communication skills.  Candidates must be available Sunday nights.  Applicants must have a valid drivers license and WIAA certification is preferred.  Please Contact Ginger Miller at the New London Parks and Recreation Office (920) 982-8521 for more information.
 
The New London Fire Department is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Volunteer Firefighter.  Candidates must possess a Wisconsin Firefighter I certification or be able to obtain certification within one (1) year of hire.  Applicant must also possess a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License. Residency rules apply.

The New London Aquatic and Fitness Center is looking to hire Part Time Lifeguards for hours available throughout the day. Students and adults are encouraged to apply!!!   Must be reliable, hard working, and able to swim. Training, including certification in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and Automated External Defibrillation, will be reimbursed after 1000 hours. The New London Parks and Recreation Department is looking for responsible individuals for Program Instructors and Referees this 2011 Fall Season.  Qualified candidates must be knowledgeable in the sport and all of its rules and regulations, experience is required and a WIAA or ASA Certificate is desirable for the Umpire positions and must have experience working with children for the program staff positions.  If interested please contact the New London Parks and Recreation Department for more information at (920) 982-8521.
