How do the Explorers learn about law enforcement?

Training and information is provided by professionals working in the field

of law enforcement at the explorer meetings.  The Explorers also

participate in many hands on activities such as traffic stops, and traffic

direction.  Explorer members also participate in community events in

helping with traffic direction, crowd control.  The most popular activity

for Explorers is ride a longs, where the post  member actually ride with

the police officers during the course of their regular duties.  Explorers

find out first hand what police work is really like.
