The New London Senior Center, located at 600 W. Washington Street, is open to all persons age 60 and over. It is a multi-purpose center with a wide variety of activities available.

A nutrition program is offered Monday through Friday. Meals are also available for the home bound elderly.  All meals are on a donation basis and are served at 12 noon.  A meal reservation is required one day in advance by calling 982-8522.

The Center also provides recreational and educational opportunities.  One day trips via motor coach are available, as well as bowling, dartball leagues and a Billiard Table.  The Center has movies, card parties, dances and bingo, plus occasional classes in crafts and upholstery.  During the school year, the Adopt-A-Grandparent Program works with the 3rd Grade classes and concludes with a picnic in the Spring at Hatten Park.

The Center is also a source of information for Medicare, Homestead Credit, Tax Preparation, Fuel Assistance and other programs offered through the County.  A Benefit Advocate and Volunteer Transportation Coordinator are available at the Center every other month.  Various health screenings are held throughout the year.  Exercise equipment consisting of a new Treadmill and Exercise Bike is now available to our seniors.
