Sr. Center Online Registration

The New London Senior Center, located at 600 W. Washington Street, is open to all persons age 60 and over. It is a multi-purpose center with a wide variety of activities available.  

 

A nutrition program is offered Monday through Friday. Meals are also available for the home bound elderly.  All meals are on a donation basis and are served at 11:30am.  A meal reservation is required one day in advance by calling 982-8522 before 11:30am.

  

The Center is a source of information for Medicare, Homestead Credit, Tax Preparation, Fuel Assistance and other programs offered through the County.  A Benefit Advocate is available at the Center every month.  Various health screenings are held throughout the year.  Exercise equipment consisting of a Treadmill and Exercise Bike is now available to our seniors.

 

The Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Card Games 1st, 2nd, and 4th Monday of the month - 12:30pm
AARP Meeting 3rd Monday of the month at 12:30pm
 
Tuesday Bingo - 12:30pm every week
Monthly Birthday Party after Bingo on the last Tuesday of the month
 
Wednesday Sheephead & Dominoes - 12:30pm every week
Kathy Austin - Athritis Foundation, 2nd Wednesday of the month at 11:00am
 
Thursday Athritis Foundation Exercise Class- 10:30am - 11:30am
 
Friday Foot Clinic on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the Month.  Call 920-538-2974 for an appointment.
 
 

New London Transit Service

Local transportation is available through the Senior Van Program.   The Van runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  Transit Service is available for those over 60 yrs and over as well as individuals of all ages with disabilities.  Donations are appreciated. 

Rides can be obtained by calling 982-8523 and must be scheduled 24 hrs in advance.  The New London Transit provides service within the corporate city limits of New London as defined in our residential policy.   The Van is equipped with a Wheelchair Lift.
