Request for Development Proposals - New London Downtown Business District (TID #5)

The City of New London, WI is pleased to release a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a
development opportunity in New London’s downtown TID #5 Business District. Development
of this site expands on the city’s goals to grow and strengthen the downtown district with a
focus to diversify but complement existing businesses to capitalize and encourage economic
growth.
Proposals must be for a commercial development which fits into the current zoning
designation. New London is committed to reducing barriers and providing incentives, clarity
and certainty throughout the development process for projects that support the city’s
economic and community expansion objectives.
The City of New London will accept written proposals until December 29th, 2022. Proposals can
be submitted in person, by mail or by emailing a PDF copy to choerth@newlondonwi.org. Any
proposals received after this date will be deemed unresponsive for this solicitation.
The City of New London reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to resolicit
proposals, to waive any irregularities, and to select the proposal deemed to be in the best
interest of the city.
Issuance of this RFP does not obligate the City of New London to award a contract nor
is the city of New London liable for any costs incurred in the preparation and submittal of the
proposal.
