Please schedule a time with the instructor to demonstrate your pre-requisites before the class begins.

Approximately 24 hours of in-person class time are required to complete the course. Additionally, ~7 hours of online education may need to be completed independently by the student before and/or during the course.

Class Fees: Residents/Non-Residents-$165/$181.50
Course fees are due after the pre-requisites are passed.
Class participants that have applied for and are under consideration for employment as a lifeguard with the City of New London will have their class costs waived, provided they sign a contract to work for 200 hours within their first year of employment. If employment is terminated by either party prior to fulfilling that commitment, full class fees will be due at that time. If class is failed or incompleted the party is responsible to pay the class fee.
