Parks, Trails and Gardens

The City of New London maintains 16 park sites that encompass a combined area of 281.6 acres.  These parks have provided many economic benefits to the New London Community by providing venues for numerous community events including Big Whopper Weekend, 4th of July Celebration, Kid’s Day Fishing and Celebration Day, Chevy Club Classic Car Show,  Baseball/Softball/Soccer tournaments, Wolf River Vet Clinic Dog Walk, and several company picnics.  New London's Park system offers a wide variety of passive and active recreational opportunities as well as ample services facilities to support them including rentable park shelters, baseball/softball diamonds, an indoor pool with splash pad, basketball and volleyball courts, a disc golf course, accessible trails, a dog park and numerous areas for shoreline fishing along the Wolf and Embarrass Rivers.  For a complete summary of facilities at each park, download the New London Park Information sheet, or click on a site below to bring up more detailed information about that park.  For more information on the location of each park, download our park map.  The City also offers 2 sites for community gardens.  For more information on the sites, fees and rules please check out the annual brochure.
