Description:
Heavy cardboard box with a lid that is split down the center and attached on each of the long sides. The edges are angled to slip into slots on the sides of the box. On the lid is "Knapstein's" in blue italicized lettering with "Beer" in red ink. Industrial staples are used to hold the box together. On the long sides of the box are "Knapstein's Beer" large logo of red and blue "Knapstein Brewing Co. New London, WIS." in blue below the logo. On the short ends in blue ink "24-12ox. Bottles Knapstein's Beer Knapstein Brewing Co. New London, WIS." Burned into the case is the number 84 and a cent mark indicating that the bottles were 84cents. The bottom of the box is red with black lettering "Downing Beer Container Minimum Test 550# Patent No. 2,548,130 24-12oz T TP T"
