Wooden slat chairs with two separate seats that can be folded up and down. Light brown in color. Vertical slats up the back and horizontal slats along the seats. Bench is thought to have been made by the Wisconsin Cabinet and Panel Company in New London, WI.

Local legend states that these folding chairs were made at the New London factory of the Wisconsin Chair Company for a new baseball stadium in New York, either the Connie Mack or Yankee Stadium. We are still trying to confirm this story.
In 1902, the Wisconsin Chair Company from Port Washington came to New London and bought the bankrupt H.G. Andrae Furniture Manufacturing Company. They used the factory at 613 East Beacon Avenue until 1906. Then the Wolf River Company took over ownership. They renamed the company The Wisconsin Seating Company in 1912. Two years after the name change, the company from Port Washington bought back controlling interest. Two years after the Wisconsin Chair Company sold it again. This time a division of the Thomas A. Edison Company purchased the factory. It remained in their possession until 1965.
