Description:
Trilobite specimen. Pygidium is not present. This specimen has been faked by glueing the trilobite to the surface of the rock. Glue is visible next to the cephalon. There is also a visible gap between the base of the trilobite and the rock.

The age of this trilobite is presently unknown as it has been staged on the rock. The staging of fossils to increase their value was a common practice in nature and rock shops to increase the commercial value of the fossil. This particular specimen has a thorax (body) and cephalon (head) preserved.
