Two solitary rugose (horn) corals.

These solitary corals are commonly referred to as horn corals. Unlike their namesake the tip of the horn is actually the bottom of the coral as it grows on the wider side. Some species of this ancient coral reached a meter in length. Horn corals are now extinct as they died out over 250 million years ago.
